Let’s hear it for Sussex University student Jack who has completed his 625-mile walk along the Monarch’s Way – the distance from London to Milan! Over the course of four months, Jack has spent his weekends travelling to the route, battling extreme weather, camping in the wild and navigating country paths from Worcester to Shoreham-by-Sea. All in support of St Barnabas House who are currently caring for his dad, David.
Jack says, “It was definitely the hardest thing I've done, 625 miles is a lot further then you would imagine. A massive thank you for all the support and donations, it really kept me motivated on those tough, long days. I'm over the moon to have raised over £2,000 for St Barnabas. One of the reasons Dad is still here is due to the fantastic work of everyone at the hospice. I couldn’t think of a better cause to walk for.”
