Let’s hear it for Ed who has gone booze free for a whole year, raising a huge amount for the hospice.🍺
He says: “Being an ex-rugby player, beer has always played a big part in my social life. I decided to attempt 12 months alcohol free and felt such a big feat would be worthy of raising money for St Barnabas who cared for my sister, Marie, so beautifully and respectfully.
There is no question that waking up on a Saturday or Sunday morning with a clear head has been a revelation. I’ve also lost three and a half stone and saved a lot of money. It has given me a new perspective on life, and I hope my story inspires someone to realise they can accomplish anything should they put their mind to it.”
