Civic leaders joined military representatives and local schools at a commemorative event at Worthing Town Hall to pay tribute to those who gave their lives to war.
A two-minute silence is held at 11am on 11 November, which marks the end of hostilities between the Allies and Germany that brought the end of the First World War.
