Calling ALL families of Adur & Worthing!
You're invited for some fun and FREE activities this summer as Brooklands Park is brought back to life!
Who would you like to enjoy a community picnic with and fireside snacks? Tag them in the comments!
There will be bug hotel making, flower printing, wood whittling and fairy fire lighting and so much more!
The We Are FoodPioneers CIC team will welcome you to take part in a series of different and engaging activities.
Working with Worthing Borough Council, Food Pioneers will be inviting you to share the open spaces at Brooklands Park on Wednesdays and Thursdays starting with a community picnic on 25th July from 10am til 1pm.
There will also be egg and spoon races and cheese rolling!
An extra £2million will be spent by the Council over the next three years to develop Brooklands Park into a new Adventure Park with emphasis on learning about science and the natural environment through fun, play and exploration.
Also a not for profit organisation CYCALL will be running FREE adapted cycling sessions at Brooklands Park on Saturday afternoons, starting on 27th July 2019 from 1pm to 4pm.
CYCALL's adapted cycles makes cycling accessible for disabled adults and children or anyone with a health issue.
