A Shoreham car park is to close for four months as works on the Shoreham Adur Tidal Walls scheme move on to the next stage.
Teams working on the multimillion pound flood defence scheme, which will reduce the risk to thousands of properties in the town, are about to commence the E2 phase of the project near Ropetackle.
To assist with the work, contractors have asked Adur District Council to use the Ropetackle Car Park as a secure storage compound.
The closure will come into force tomorrow (May 23) and remain for 20 weeks (October 10).
A small number of permit holders will be affected and have been directed to use alternatives. Other motorists are asked to plan in advance.
