A kind woman who helped a disabled lady into a car park lift in Worthing, but lost a precious ring in the process, has been reunited with it after our car parks team came to the rescue!

Resident Emma Snowden, noticed a disabled woman needed a hand getting into the Worthing High Street car park lift.

But, as the good Samaritan was doing her best to help, the sparkling ring slid off her finger and into the pit below the elevator.

Adur and Worthing’s lift engineer Dominic was quick to assist, salvaging the jewelry from the depths of the lift shaft.

Mrs Snowden was delighted to be contacted by the Adur and Worthing’s car park team, and sent her mother, Pauline Cox, at once to collect her ring from the car park’s leader Kim.

An example of customer service at it’s best!
